Backups on Blinkenshell
Blinkenshell makes daily backups of your /home and /www directories and transfers them to a remote location in case something goes bad with the server.
There is currently no way for you to choose what's going to get backed up, instead some system-wide rules are in use. Everything except the following will get backed up:
- backup/
- backups/
- tmp/
- irclogs/
- .weechat/logs/
- *~ (autosave files)
If you accidentaly delete a file, I might be able to recover it from backup if you contact me before the next backup time (currently 06:00AM CET.)
This backup system was introduced on November 5:th. It's based on rsync + ssh.
