Quakenet is one of the largest IRC-networks in the world. They are quite harsh on spam etc, and they therefore won't allow more than five connections from one IP. If you want to use Quakenet you therefore have to idle in the channel #blinkenshell on Quakenet so we can request a trust and thereby getting the privilige of having more than five connectnions to Quakenet. Blinkenshell has a "trust" from Quakenet, this is so that we can connect with more than five clients at the same time to their servers. It's very important to follow the rules and that we stay under the connection limit of a total of 25 connections to Quakenet. Also remember and respect the "one connection per network"-rule, this ofcourse also applies for Quakenet.

Blinkenshell does have a IRC channel on Quakenet: #blinkenshell You're welcome to join us, but you should still visit the official main channel on [[Allshells]].
